Well, we had an overall good day as a family. I had class this morning but after class I visited some garage sales and found some good deals on a few things and then came home to relax a bit before heading off to Arctic Playgroundz for a birthday party. The kids had so much fun and Marshy was walking while holding onto a small shopping cart, it was just awesome to see him go. :) I'm very proud of my little man. I only managed to catch a small video of him walking. Liam seemed to of had a ton fun aswell.
We got home a tad after 5pm and went next door for a small get together they were having, I don't really know why but I just instantly got depressed when we got home. It's been really bugging me. I haven't been able to eat, drink, sleep, nothing. I have a strong nagging feeling that someone close to me is passing away soon, and to make it worse I keep getting signs that say "dad/father". Now the question is my dad? Duston's dad? Duston? :( I don't like this, not one bit. It's eating me up inside and I can't even get myself out of this funk I'm in. If I could I would go cry myself to sleep in hopes I'd feel better, but it's not going to. All I can do is wait and see, perhaps it's nothing at all.
Duston is outside right now (11pm) drinking with the neighbors, I didn't feel up to joining in on the fun. I mostly felt like being alone so I took a relaxing shower and got in my nightgown and robe to plop on the couch awaiting the bad news. I've always been the type of person that expects the worse in everything, I guess it makes any good news that much sweeter. I don't really know why I do it.
Well I guess I'll get back to sitting around pondering the what if's as to why I feel this way. Goodnight.

The Peralez Family
We are a military family currently stationed in Alaska, we got here Dec. 2008 and have loved it ever since. There are 5 of us: Duston (hubby), VickiRae (myself), Alyssa(step daughter, she lives in TX), Liam (our son), and Marshall (the baby, kinda). We have 2 cats, 1 dog, and 1 fish tank with a beta, snail, frog and algae eaters. Currently trying to cut out processed foods and live a better healthy lifestyle. One day it will all come natural to us but we take it one step at a time for now.

T.G.I.F.
Well the day was overall pretty good, kids were not too bad today and I got the laundry done after seeing I was getting a tad behind. We ended the evening by going to dinner at Ihop and then going to Bestbuy for a phone protector and found some movies on sale to add to the tiny collection of bluray's we have. Blue-ray is SO darn expensive, I wanted to buy the Cars dvd+blu-ray combo pack but it was $44, outrageous. Guess we will keep renting it from the library.
Once we came home the kids went to bed and now I've finished my last min. quick study for class tomorrow. Hubby is doing the 14 day acai body cleanse and I guess it's working because this is day 1 and he's poo'd over 8 times now and I can hear him outside all the way two rooms over. lol. Haha, he just came out and burst out laughing because he knew I could hear him. I thought about trying it but now I think not.
Class in the morning at 9am and then home to clean and eat lunch and have the kids nap before we head off to a friends son's b'day party. We never go to Arctic Playgroundz because I don't feel it's very safe for toddlers (maybe if the large wooden play area was blocked off from younger kids) and because they foods/drinks are over priced and yucky. Lol. I will however go without issues to celebrate the 3rd b'day of a wonderfully smart little boy. :)
After the party we will come home tidy up and go next door for a cookout at the neighbors. Then home to sleep cause sleep is good. Well I'm out of here for night, gonna clean up some more and watch Kiss of the Dragon with the hubby.

Our first post. :)
Well, lets see...
It's 2pm and the kids are napping and I'm online typing when I should be napping too. I stayed up until 5am this morning because I had the sudden urge to bake some granola bars. Yeah, I don't quiet understand it myself. I tend to lack in the sleeping department, I can never seem to go to sleep so instead I get up and clean or bake something/s.This morning I baked Chewy Granola Bars recipe courtesy of SmittenKitchen.com here is the direct link to the CHEWY GRANOLA BARS!
The recipe was pretty good I give it a 4 out of 5. I say 4 because it's VERY sweet, too sweet to ever consider a good treat for your children. I will opt to omit the corn syrup and half the sugar next time I make up a batch. I did add a little Organic Coconut oil in it with my almond butter for a nice smooth coconut taste. Very yummy.
After making the bars I went to bed and said good morning the to the hubby on his way to work. I got up 3 hours later with the kids and we spent 2 hours doing a lot of nothing until Katy came over. She usually comes around at 10am-4:30pm.
Then a lot of crazy kid screaming and silly giggles, as our usual day happens. I was making grilled cheese today I realized we had no butter, I used it all this morning so I had to make some. The kids thought it was so fun to shake their containers of cream until it became a little mess of creamy butter. I cheated and made the family batch in the Kitchen aid mixer of course. Mom's can cheat, it's allowed when cooking. Why else would they make these fancy machines, right?
All the kids enjoyed eating their homemade butter with their crackers for an after lunch treat. Then to clean up and take naps. :) Which is where we/I am now. 2:10PM now and the kids shall be waking soon so I must speed type.
Left on the agenda today:
1) Get dressed, pj's and messy hair won't cut it.
2) Finish homework
3) Go to Commissary
4) Possibly go to BED BATH AND BEYOND (a fav. of mine)
5) Cook dinner, if I don't the kids will be eating fruit snacks and cheese sticks for dinner. Why oh why can't hubby think of 1 healthy meal. :)
6) Go to class
7) Come home, complain about how cold it is in class and then somehow be amazed that 2 hours that I'm gone hubby did a lot of NOTHING. Everytime.
8) Send hubby to bed while pretending it's okay and I'll clean it myself, yet as I clean I mumble in my head all the things I wanna shout and yell about. Never fair that I do so much, life I guess.
9) Study for quiz on Saturday.
10) Possibly go to bed, if not then I'll bake!
Sounds like a plan. Oh, darn just thought, may not be able to go to BB&B after all gotta go to Napa and get car parts. Lameo!
Have a good day,
